A Few Shots From Last Year

I was looking over some pics from last summer and thought i should post a few of them. Most are just scenery shots, but that's definently part of what makes kayaking so incredible.

The Fluid Dynamic

So what's this whole kayak blog thing about anyways, well my thought behind making it was to put a perspective out there of the world of whitewater, not to just showing photos of big waterfalls and massive waves, but to hopefully embody the whole boater lifestyle. Kayakers, rafters, whitewater enthusiasts are connected through the water, year after year it draws us in, and as whitewater sports have progressed and lasting friendships form, our community continues to grow and transform. Now this may be a personal depiction, but its purpose is to showcase something much bigger than a single person. This is about a way of life that is always changing, at times calm and other times surging. This is the Fluid Dynamic.

Now, I know I'm probably going to look back on that someday and say "David you're and idiot, you sounded like a fairy, talking about kayaking like that, anyone who kayaks knows that the reason they do it is because it's so damn fun, and that's it!" So I'm going to try and be efficient and go ahead and learn from my foreseen moments delusion and just have fun. If you're reading this and have never tried kayaking then start tomorrow, i don't care if you live in Kansas. If you've been around the sport awhile, well then I hope to see you out there. Happy boating!
